Specialist High Skills Major lets students focus on the career path that matches their skills and interests. From participating in the program, you may earn CPR, First Aid, Fork Lift Training, Safe Food Handling, and Customer Service Certifications along with many others.
You can major in:
Agriculture, Arts and Culture, Business, Construction, Energy, Environment, Health and Wellness, Horticulture and Landscaping, Hospitality and Tourism, Information, Communication, and Technology, Manufacturing, and Transportation.
The courses you must take in order to be eligible:
- 4 senior level credits specific to your chosen major
- 2 Co-op credits in the selected major
- 2-4 other subject credits, such as English and Math where a Contextualized Learning Activity related to the sector is delivered
