District 9 Scholarship

Attached is the Application Form and Terms and Conditions for the 2017 District 9 Scholarship(s). Applications are due May 31, 2017 by 4:00 p.m.

Eligibility is limited to persons who will be graduating or have graduated within the past year from a secondary school and are dependent children, natural or adopted, foster children of at least one year as of the date application is due, of parents or guardians who are members of OSSTF District 9, retired members of OSSTF District 9 or deceased members of OSSTF District 9.

Four (4) entrance scholarships of $500 each will be awarded.

A paid 6 week Achievers summer internship (2017) with the possibility to renew

International Student Exchange Opportunity!

ISE (International Student Exchange) applications are now being accepted!

Go on a 12 week exchange as a secondary student or a summer exchange if you're between ages 13 - 17.

Students participating in the 12 week program must attend school and fully immerse themselves in the language of their host destination.

Applications for grade 9's and 10's for the fall of 2018 must be submitted by April 1, 2017.

University of Windsor Financing Education Seminar

Prospective students and their families are invited to attend the Financing Your University Education information session at the University of Windsor.

How do I start an apprenticeship?

Some students are able to begin accumulating their apprenticeship hours through a co-op placement in high school.  For more information on this, please see the Guidance office and/or the Co-op teacher. 

If you are interested in registering as an apprentice as a high school graduate, you will need to register online (as of fall 2016). 

You will need an employer who is able to take you on as an apprentice.
