Nemak Achievers Scholarship Opportunity!

The Nemak Achievers Scholarship offers:
A $3,500 scholarship for one graduating highschool senior
A paid 6 week Achievers summer internship (2017) with the possibility to renew

Deadline: March 31st, 2017

Applicants must:

Be graduating high school seniors from a school under the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board (WECDSB), Greater Essex County District School Board (GECDSB), or a graduating senior who is a resident of Windsor, Canada.

Enroll in a full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four year college or university based in Canada or the U.S. for the entire 2017 - 2018 academic year.

Major in a course that focuses on Engineering, Automotive, or Manufacturing

Demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in the automotive/manufacturing industry.

SPIROL Scholarship

Are you eligible for the SPIROL Scholarship?

SPIROL offers students who are earning a degree in Engineering, Basic Sciences, and Manufacturing Technology large sums of money to help with their financial needs!

Criteria:
The student must have applied for a two or four year accredited college
The student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
The student must be pursuing a career in Engineering, Basic Sciences, or Manufacturing Technology.

International Student Exchange Opportunity!

ISE (International Student Exchange) applications are now being accepted!

Go on a 12 week exchange as a secondary student or a summer exchange if you're between ages 13 - 17.

Students participating in the 12 week program must attend school and fully immerse themselves in the language of their host destination.

Applications for grade 9's and 10's for the fall of 2018 must be submitted by April 1, 2017.
Applications for Summer exchanges must be submitted by March 1, 2017.

-The student must have demonstrated participation in volunteer/community activities
-The student must demonstrate financial need for the award itself
-The student must identify with a documented learning exceptionability or physical disability

-Submit two Letters of Reference: One from teacher; one from a member of the community
-Submit an essay
-Submit proof to learning exceptionality/disability.

University of Windsor Financing Education Seminar

Prospective students and their families are invited to attend the Financing Your University Education information session at the University of Windsor.

Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Odette School of Business, Room 104
Sunset Ave. at Wyandotte St. W., University of Windsor

Students can take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the financial aid options available. Representatives from the Student Awards and Financial Aid Office and Student Recruitment Office will be available to answer questions.

To help us plan, we ask students to sign up before Friday, February 17 at www.uwindsor.ca/future.

Prospective students who visit UWindsor for a campus tour, for the Spring Open House, or the Financing Your Education Workshop will be entered into a draw to  win first semester tuition. There are multiple prizes to be won and students who attended an event on campus in Fall 2016 are already entered into the draw.
