Scholarship for Teachers Life Members

The J. F. Allen Scholarship and the Teachers Life Bursary awards are aimed at students who exemplify excellence, achievement and involvement in their school and community. These awards are open to the children and grandchildren Teachers Life Members.

While meeting the academic standard for each award and submitting a complete application gets you in the door, the Teachers Life connection to community is at the core of each award. Focus is on the candidate’s involvement in their school and community -- where they have demonstrated that “give back” attitude and excellence in initiative and leadership, which is at the heart of Teachers Life.

Teachers Life Bursary is a one-time award of $1,000 available annually to one female and one male student in their final year of high school.

The deadline for applying for both awards isMarch 31, 2016.
