The Beth Cooper Memorial Bursary

Two $500 bursaries are to be awarded annually to two secondary school students who have documented learning exceptionality or physical disabilities who intend to attend university or college.

Criteria
-The student will be attending a university or college
-The student must have demonstrated leadership
-The student must have contributed to school activities
-The student must have maintained good academic standing
-The student must have demonstrated participation in volunteer/community activities
-The student must demonstrate financial need for the award itself
-The student must identify with a documented learning exceptionability or physical disability

Applicants Must
-Submit an official transcript from their secondary school
-Submit two Letters of Reference: One from teacher; one from a member of the community
-Submit an essay
-Submit proof to learning exceptionality/disability.
